Special Announcement by Mad Scientist Mom

First an update from me on the Spring Show screen play...

The writing is coming along and the sets are being built.
Some set materials needed to be ordered and should arrive shortly.

The Sneak Preview and Casting Call is anticipated to be ready within a couple weeks, cross paws :)

Passing it over to my Mad Scientist Mom now for her Special Announcement...

Thank you Roo and Hello All :)

I actually have two things to share with you.

One is a special deal from Adobe that Adobe just told me about.
It's pertaining to the newest version of Adobe Elements.

If you've been wanting to get Adobe Photoshop and/or Premier Elements 10, but have been waiting for a good deal, get ready because I haven't seen a deal like this since Black Friday.

Adobe is offering a ONE DAY 50% Promo

Offer available April 15 9:00pm PST through April 16 11:59pm PST

While it is true that I am part of their Affiliate Program and would receive some change should you decide to purchase this product through the above links, I really just wanted to let everyone know about this great deal on software that a lot of bloggers use for editing their photos and videos. It is very rare that Adobe has this popular software available at such a deep discount.

Please know I don't want to encourage you to buy anything you really don't want or need. It's just that I would really want to know about this offer for myself if I didn't already have the product. :)

So if you DO want to take advantage of this incredible deal, click on one of the green links above and use the promo code ELEMENTS50.

On to the second thing...

I get emails from KICKSTARTER (it's a company that facilitates the funding of creative projects in a really cool way) that tells me about some of the projects currently asking for funding.

No worries, I'm not going to suggest you help fund any of these projects ;)

I just saw this one come over and it made me think of all of Roo's furiends whose peeps have young daughters.

It's a book series being written called Wollstonecraft.

"Inspired by his own literature-loving daughter, Jordan Stratford's Wollstonecraft is a work of historical fiction telling the story of two unsung women: Ada Byron, the world's first computer programmer, and Mary Shelley, the world's first science fiction author. The resulting tale mixes math and science with mystery and adventure, transforming Ada and Mary into young detectives who must use their smarts to save the day."

You can read more about this project HERE.

The project has already received pledges of more than 20 times their funding goal!

I would have loved to read such a book series as a young gal!

Here is where it is expected to be sold according to the author hopefully sometime in the Summer of 2012...

"Paperbacks will be for sale on Amazon.
I don't know what they'll cost aside from "paperback book price".  Nothing prohibitive.

Kindle versions will of course be available on Amazon as well,

and kobo/nook/iPad versions will be available via their respective online stores."

So if this is something you think your peep sisters might enjoy,
now you know about it and can keep an eye out for it on the market. :)

That's it. I've gabbed enough ;)

Hugs,
Mad Scientist Mom
